KGLC’s Mixed Grass Academy is back — and in a new 2-day format designed to make the most of your time in the field and classroom. This hands-on academy focuses on practical grazing management strategies for Kansas’ mixed grass prairies, covering topics like stocking rates, plant ID, drought planning, and more.
Join KGLC in Wells, Kansas, to connect with experts, learn alongside other producers, and take home tools you can use on your operation right away.
The cost is $200 per student and covers room & board, meals and tuition for the 2 day academies. Scholarships of $100 are available for landowners, ranchers and operators.
MIXED GRASS REGISTRANTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN BOARD.
