Quail Habitat Tour

  • Intersection of Brush Creek Rd and Forrester Road (map)

Quail require three general cover types to survive: nesting cover, brood-rearing cover, and escape cover.  They thrive in an "early-successional" landscape of native grasses, forbs, and shrubs.  Quail are most successful when these features are arrayed in a mosaic pattern.  Join us for a tour of what this looks like in the field and to learn more about how you can enhance your own property.
